With all that configuration, what’s only left is to then start writing your first post! Using WordPress as my Content Management System (CMS), I can easily change the themes of my site, manage the posts that I write, and many more!

So that’s all there is! I’m sure there are many other ways to achieve the same thing I have done in this blog. Feel free to let me know if this has helped you in any way! At the same time, do ping me if you happen to know a more efficient method of same objectives!

Brilliant post! Love the simplicity and clarity. So what is the total cost of running the blog over one year?

I ve been hosting arunpc.com at WordPress.com for more than a decade. Now i am really tempted to move to LightSail 🙂

Thanks!

So the Lightsail instance will cost me $3.50/month, Route53 Hosted Zones are $0.50/month, and my domain is $12/year. That would work out to about $60 a year, which would be around $5/month! Personally I find to be very reasonable!
